Professor Ivan Marusic receives Woodward Medal
News, Research — By Jennifer Thomas on December 20, 2011 9:51 amProfessor Ivan Marusic, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has received the University of Melbourne’s Woodward Medal in Science and Technology.
The Woodward Medals – one in science and technology and one in humanities and social sciences – are awarded annually to a member of staff for research considered to have made the most significant contribution in their field during the previous three years.
The Woodward Medal acknowledges Professor Marusic’s contribution to knowledge about turbulence published in the prestigious journal Science.
