Bionic eye project on 7.30 Report

Anthony Burkitt, Director of Bionic Vision Australia and Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Melbourne School of Engineering was interviewed on the 7.30 Report last night.

Professor Burkitt discussed the first and second generation bionic eye devices that are under development, which aim to assist people with retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration.
