Disaster management seminar: Friday 24 February

Disaster management expert Professor Pascal van Hentenryck will present the first in a series of seminars at The University of Melbourne on the theme of disaster management.
Professor van Hentenryck will present his seminar “Last Mile Restoration of Multiple Interdependent Infrastructures”:
When: Friday the 24th of February, 12 – 1pm,
Where: Theatre 3, ICT Building, 111 Barry St Carlton
Pascal van Hentenryck is a professor in the Melbourne School of Engineering and the leader of the optimisation research group at NICTA. Prior to that, he was a professor at Brown University in the United States for 20 years.
The Disaster Management seminars will run every Friday in the same time slot during Marc. All subsequent seminars after the first will be in the E-zone lecture theatre in the Architecture Building (Building 133 on the Parkville campus).
