New engineering and IT students welcomed

New engineering and IT students gathered yesterday in the Engineering Forecourt to kick off the year, meet academic staff and enjoy fine food, drink and music.

The Melbourne School of Engineering hosted its annual graduate welcome event for a busy crowd of local and international engineering and IT students.

The Engineering Music Society’s jazz band provided a lively soundtrack as students made the most of the balmy summer afternoon.
