Congratulations to Professor Frank Caruso, who has been awarded the inaugural American Chemical Society Nano Lectureship for the Asia/Pacific region.
The ACS Nano Lectureship Awards honour the contributions of scientists whose work has significantly impacted the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Only three recipients received the awards this year — one each from the Americas, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and Asia/Pacific.
These inaugural awards will be presented during May at the European Materials Research Society meetings in Strasbourg, France, where each recipient will give an invited talk.
Professor Caruso is an ARC Federation Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and was last year listed as 17th in the world for Materials Science, according to Thomson Reuters.
The Melbourne School of Engineering congratulates Professor Caruso on this significant achievement.
