The Melbourne School of Engineering Awards Night held on Tuesday 22 May celebrated the achievements of top performing Engineering and IT students, announcing the 2011 Dean’s Honours List and selected scholarships and prizes made possible through the generosity of our supporters.

The Dean’s Honours List represents the top 3% of students enrolled in an undergraduate engineering and computer science degree and top 5% of students enrolled in a Master of Engineering, Master of Engineering in Distributed Computing, Master of Information Systems and Master of Spatial Information Science degree.

Guests were treated to the career insights of our industry keynote speaker, Ms Liz Westcott, Senior Project Manager of the Kipper Tuna Turrum Project at ExxonMobil, and the study reflections of our student keynote speaker, Master of Engineering student, Mr Martin Lee.

Congratulations to all students recognised at the MSE Awards Night and thanks again to our guests, donors, supporters and industry sponsors ExxonMobil, Department of Defence and Engineers Australia, for attending this special event. Thanks also to our Dean and fabulous MCs Professor Andrew Ooi, Associate Dean (Academic) and Associate Professor Chris Manzie, Assistant Dean (Research Training).
