What robotics can learn from nature

Melbourne School of Engineering graduate researcher David Budden has written an article for The Conversation.

David discusses a multi-disciplinary research project that is investigating animal movement and how better understanding the forces at work in nature, may assist in programming the movements of robots in future.

David is a researcher with National ICT Australia (NICTA) Victoria Research Laboratory, undertaking a PhD in Systems and Computational Biology.
