The Melbourne School of Engineering is Australia’s leading institution for Engineering and Technology (Times Higher Education 2014 – 2015).

Our curriculum is developed in close consultation with leading employers. We offer industry-based-learning opportunities and entrepreneurial support to students via the Melbourne Accelerator Program, Australia’s preeminent startup accelerator.

Our Master of Engineering courses are ratified by the Washington Accord, and are also the first courses in Australia to be granted accreditation in Europe via EUR-ACE®. As a graduate, you can launch your career as an accredited engineer both in Australia, and throughout the world, in leading economies such as the United States, United Kingdom, Western Europe, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia and Canada.

The new Master of Engineering with Business, co-developed with Melbourne Business School, allows you to combine a technical specialisation in engineering with the business and management skills that can help fast-track your career.

Our IT courses offer advanced industry-relevant knowledge and industry based learning opportunities. The Master of Information Systems is a professional degree for aspiring and current practitioners and consultants in digital business. The Master of Information Technology is a course for students who are passionate about cutting edge technology and its application in solving real world problems.

We also offer a range of specialised Masters, including the Master of Energy Systems, a unique course that integrates the technology and business of energy. The MES offers a wealth of employment opportunities in emerging roles that are helping secure the energy future of our world.
