Professor Iven Mareels wins Control Engineering Textbook Prize

Dean of the Melbourne School of Engineering, Professor Iven Mareels and Prof Pedro Albertos (Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, Spain) have received the 2017 Harold Chestnut Control Engineering Textbook Prize from the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), for their book Feedback and Control for Everyone (Springer, 2010).

This Prize recognises the authors of textbooks judged to have most contributed to the education of control engineers. It is awarded triennially at IFAC World Congresses to textbooks with first editions appearing no later than the previous Congress.
