Melbourne Accelerator Program Public Forum – 18 September

Venue: Woodward Conference Centre, Level 10, Law Building, University of Melbourne

The Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) is a start-up accelerator run by the Melbourne School of Engineering, University of Melbourne. MAP grants four start-ups $20,000, provides office space and access to a large range of mentors.

The second MAP Public Forum will be a panel discussion about entrepreneurship in Australia, key challenges faced in starting and building a company and how to enhance your chances of success with a venture. This event is open to alumni, staff, students and the public.

Panellists include:

  • Dr Charlie Day, Former CEO of Melbourne Ventures
  • Mr Alan Downie, Co-Founder and CEO of BugHerd
  • Dr Paul Scoullar, Founder of Southern Innovation
  • Mr Yann Burden, CEO of Billcap
